Small, compact, the CalSoft Mini, metered water softener is designed to fit in all household situations. The energy saving units are suitable for all types of plumbing systems. Less salt and water are used as the metered, automatic unit only regenerates when necessary. Easy to operate electronics require little programming – simply adjust the water hardness level if needed. This durable water softener also features a stylish cabinet and hood, producing an endless supply of softened water.

SCALEMASTER developed the first Electrolytic Limescale Inhibitor and the first Softline scale-protected shower with a built-in Limescale Inhibitor. We were the firstto offer central heating system chemicals in 250ml bottles which treat a 100 litre (10 radiator) system and also introduced i-Mag, the first magnetic heating system sludge filter manufactured entirely in stainless steel.

Scalemaster® Magnetic Limescale Inhibitors prevent limescale build-up by influencing the type (crystal structure) of the limescale precipitated. Laboratory research has shown that the growth of limescale crystals is affected by the application of the magnetic field causing more ‘needle-like’ aragonite crystals to be formed (which find it harder to stick to heat-exchange surfaces) than the normal calcite (which forms harder surface deposits).

Scalemaster® Magnetic Limescale Inhibitors are best for individual appliances such as boilers.

Scalemaster® Central Heating System Chemicals have been carefully formulated to provide quality water treatment at an affordable price. Supplied as standard product in 500ml bottles, 300ml system aerosols that dose 120 litres, and as premium liquid concentrate in 250ml bottles (all sufficient to treat a 100 litre, nominal 10 radiator, system), Scalemaster® Central Heating System Chemicals will actively contribute to a healthy heating system.

All products have non-hazardous (user friendly) formulations and are fully compatible with all metals (including aluminium) and conventional plastics and rubbers used in typical heating system component construction. All products incorporate peel-off installation record labels and are supplied in 100% recyclable packaging.

The Scalemaster® Heating System Care products incorporate a range of advanced corrosion protection solutions which provide on-going maintenance to ensure sustained performance of your heating system. Products are designed to provide a 5 year fit-and-forget solution with minimal servicing intervention. Products include: Corrosion Master (a non-chemical solution to corrosion inhibition), i-Mag® (an all stainless steel magnetic sludge filter) and our new rapid setting External Leak Sealer paste for repairs to pipework and joints to maintain system integrity. Also available, is a chloride-free Flux Soldering Paste which minimises the potential for pitting damage to metal system components in the longer term and Condense Master® for installations where the neutralisation of acidic boiler condensate is required before disposal to drain.

Scalemaster® Softline® Water Softeners incorporate advanced technologies and manufacturing techniques to deliver softened water more simply, cheaply and efficiently than ever before.

All models are CARBON NEUTRAL (as defined in The Code for Sustainable Homes) using less than 4% water for the regeneration cycle even with water of 300ppm total hardness.  All models carry a 5-year full parts and labour warranty.
